Biography

I have worked at Dorothy Dalgliesh School for 20+ great years! As a child I attended grade 1 - 6 at DDS and had Miss Dalgliesh as my grade 1 teacher. My husband and I live in Picture Butte and our 3 daughters also attended DDS and graduated from PBHS. I have many fond memories of Christmas concerts, mini-ball games, Mother's Day teas, etc. I started out as a teaching assistant in Kindergarten and loved it! Nothing brings me more satisfaction than a smile on a little child's face. From there I helped out in every classroom with the exception of Grade 5. It was great to be with kids of all ages and to contribute to their learning. In 1999, I became the school secretary and have enjoyed the contact with the students, parents and of course our wonderful staff. I also had the opportunity to have my oldest grandson, Jace, attend Kindergarten at DDS before his family moved to Strathmore.
As you can see, I hold Dorothy Dalgliesh School close to my heart!
DDS is #1!
